My 10year old son is not a native speaker and is very shy. We tried other tutoring service but he had a hard time learning until a friend recommended Love Learning Tutoring service. Josephine has been a wonderful Maths tutor for my daughter who was really struggling with her Maths GCSE & was on the verge of giving up altogether. She is calm, kind, patient & thorough. Her manner is so encouraging that she really helped to bring my daughter out of her shell & gave her hope again, which honestly felt impossible at one stage. I’m only sorry that I didn’t find Love Learning sooner because I really believe my daughter would have achieved top grades without even trying if we had secured Josephine sooner. Rishi has been supporting me for my A level / further Math and Physics course. Our lessons are going quite well so far, I feel the content we cover is good and so are the questions. Mathnasium is fantastic. It really helped my child prepare for the 11+. Her progress was impressive, but equally impressive was how enjoyable it must be because she kept going back! My only minor complaint is the cost - it would be helpful to have a more a la carte model for added flexibility - particularly for when students are not in an exam window.

Mathnasium on Northcote road are absolutely brilliant! My son has grown in confidence and does not see Math as a challenge anymore. I believe mathnasium has helped my son practice math so supporting his school curriculum. I highly recommend Mathnasium to anybody thinking about joining here. I also suggest allowing 1 month to settle in and another few months to see changes. My son loves all the tutors who help him with his math sessions as well as front of house who welcome him in to class. My son looks forward to seeing Spike, Matt, Aali, Holly and centre manager Colette. Theyre great with children and hospitable with parents/carers. At first he was nervous but now he heads straight in. Weekends are medium busy, weekdays 4-5pm are super busy so we book at quieter times 6pm ish when we can because we live nearby and my son doesnt mind. Rest be assured every visit has been a wonderful experience whatever time you book. They have been super flexible when possible and I appreciate this so much. My son says math can be hard at times but he has fun in the centre, he feels safe and looked after all whilst learning. He also LOVES the star system in place and is working towards his goals, rewards, sweets and prizes! (Hope he doesnt end up with a cavity! Maybe they could offer a healthy option one day?) I do like they way they keep a clear record of his work and contact me every month to update me on his progress. We found Mathnasium when talking a walk down the road, noticed their signage so popped in to ask a few questions, so glad we did!

We have worked in collaboration with Manning's Tutors as part of the Schools Covid Recovery Strategy for the past 4 years. We originally began using government funding through the National Tutoring Programme to support students who had been most affected by the Pandemic. This was meant to be a short term solution. However, the results of 1:1 and small group tutoring have been very strong and we have continued to support students from a range of backgrounds and demographics to close the attainment gap in Maths, English and Science. Manning's Tutors provide a first class service and this has helped us deliver excellent returns for our students. Their personal service, reliability, efforts to problem solve, safeguarding practices AND the lesson space platform all contribute to a seamless service which is value for money. Despite government funding likely to end this year, we as a school have already committed 10% of our PP budget to Manning's because we value the service they provide and the support they offer alongside normal classroom learning. Couldn’t rate expert tuition higher. I have just finished my economics A level and in all honesty without using Expert tuition resources and livestreams I would have done nowhere near as well as I feel I have done. For any year 12 or year 13 student studying economics I would really recommend either going to one of the courses or at least watching the livestreams before you do you exams! Otherwise you are at a major disadvantage.

Dr Guna is very dedicated to the 11+ coaching that he is providing to the children. He is an excellent tutior. I completed the Essay Crash Course during the summer before my final year at university. I hugely benefited from the process as I learned skills to finally understand what a university essay demands in order to achieve a first. This course closed the huge gap in teaching how to write a university level essay. I now feel equipped to complete my final year and hope to increase my marks from a 2:1 to a first as a result of the valuable tools learned during the course. My matched tutor was really helpful and gave in-depth explanations to give me confidence in the new method of writing, something I did not learn at university. During the course I worked on an example question from one of my university papers with my tutor which was a hugely valuable exercise. I now have a worked example alongside the explanations given during the sessions which I will use throughout my final year. I will now implement what I have learned from this course and make significant changes to my work which I hope will be the difference between a 2:1 and first class degree.

I looked for an essay writing summer tutor for my children as I feel the English system does not focus on teaching children how to present analytical thinking in written form but rather mainly on content. It seems to be assumed that the children will find their way to writing good essays (and clearly many do). However, coming from the American system, in which the process of HOW to write a good essay is taught almost as a standalone subject, I felt that my children would be best served going into a writing task with the strongest possible toolset so that the ideas and ultimately what to write would become their only challenge. How to write would be second nature. I contacted Tania at Uber Tutors after a lot of research and, via her incredibly personalised interview approach, she matched a fantastic tutor with my children. Over the course of the summer, they learned how to structure, present and write an argument. They also learned how to incorporate evidence, be it literary, historical or data driven. Not only do they now approach every school essay confidently (dare I say enthusiastically?) but their teachers have mentioned their writing skills to me across the curriculum. I cannot thank Tania and Uber Tutors enough.

Uber tutors helped my son to improve from year 8 level(when he was at year 10) to year 11 within one year. They have a very good system that starts by assessing the the level of the child and then recommended the lessons required. However it doesn't end there. They also consider the child's personality and meticulously find the best tutor who would mach with the child. Prior to Uber tutors we tried a few other companies but none had a proper system in place. The tutors are very knowledgeable and helpful. There's clear and effective communication between the teacher and parents and a detailed feedback provided at the end of each and every lesson. As a result, our son passed his GCSES with very good results. Thank you Uber tutors.

The matched tutors for Sociology and Geography A level were outstanding. I have consistently used Uber Tutors for my child since year 5, elevating their potential at different stages of their State and Comprehensive schooling. Uber Tutors coached my child through their dyslexia diagnosis, immediately understanding their needs and instilling confidence.
