We would highly recommend the Achieving 11+ tuition centre, which covers everything needed to prepare for the 11+ to a very high standard. The programme included weekly classroom lessons, worksheets, and online lessons throughout. Neetu and her team foster both a strong group ethic and personal resilience, where the students are motivated to succeed in a supportive but competitive environment. The mock exams and preparation in the run-up to the exams are exceptional, as is the personalised feedback you get after each exam. The mocks were almost identical to the type/format of the questions in the actual exams, which is fantastic for familiarisation. What stands out though is the tutor’s level of commitment and dedication, which was truly incredible. Neetu really cares about the success of her students, going above and beyond to support and prepare them, and often dedicating extra time without any additional charge. Our son has learnt and grown so much from this programme, and he misses the tutor group! We are proud of everything he has achieved, which we could not have done without the support of Neetu and her team.

My both daughters have done 11 plus tutoring with Ms Neetu and her passion and commitment really recommendable. She is right teacher for anyone who is serious for 11 plus. Her teaching method has made journey really enjoyable.The way she explain complex topics is clear, concise, and engaging. She helped my both daughters throughout the journey of grammar school. Uber tutors helped my son to improve from year 8 level(when he was at year 10) to year 11 within one year. They have a very good system that starts by assessing the the level of the child and then recommended the lessons required. However it doesn't end there. They also consider the child's personality and meticulously find the best tutor who would mach with the child. Prior to Uber tutors we tried a few other companies but none had a proper system in place. The tutors are very knowledgeable and helpful. There's clear and effective communication between the teacher and parents and a detailed feedback provided at the end of each and every lesson. As a result, our son passed his GCSES with very good results. Thank you Uber tutors.

I looked for an essay writing summer tutor for my children as I feel the English system does not focus on teaching children how to present analytical thinking in written form but rather mainly on content. It seems to be assumed that the children will find their way to writing good essays (and clearly many do). However, coming from the American system, in which the process of HOW to write a good essay is taught almost as a standalone subject, I felt that my children would be best served going into a writing task with the strongest possible toolset so that the ideas and ultimately what to write would become their only challenge. How to write would be second nature. I contacted Tania at Uber Tutors after a lot of research and, via her incredibly personalised interview approach, she matched a fantastic tutor with my children. Over the course of the summer, they learned how to structure, present and write an argument. They also learned how to incorporate evidence, be it literary, historical or data driven. Not only do they now approach every school essay confidently (dare I say enthusiastically?) but their teachers have mentioned their writing skills to me across the curriculum. I completed the Essay Crash Course during the summer before my final year at university. I hugely benefited from the process as I learned skills to finally understand what a university essay demands in order to achieve a first. This course closed the huge gap in teaching how to write a university level essay. I now feel equipped to complete my final year and hope to increase my marks from a 2:1 to a first as a result of the valuable tools learned during the course. My matched tutor was really helpful and gave in-depth explanations to give me confidence in the new method of writing, something I did not learn at university. During the course I worked on an example question from one of my university papers with my tutor which was a hugely valuable exercise. I now have a worked example alongside the explanations given during the sessions which I will use throughout my final year. I will now implement what I have learned from this course and make significant changes to my work which I hope will be the difference between a 2:1 and first class degree.

Luke is an Excellent tutor, he will not waste your time. Luke will ask you what your struggling to understand and will go over it in a common sense approach that you will UNDERSTAND! He is very patient and more importantly knows his subject matter throughly. He will ensure you understand before moving on to the next topic. I’ve had 3 hours tutoring so far and understood the concepts that I was struggling with. I wish I found him a lot sooner - it would have saved me hours of reading from books. It has been a great experience with Luke. The 11+ preparations are stressful indeed with lack of information on what to prepare for and Luke really takes it off our mind. He is very thorough during the classes, breaks down tough questions into easy to understand blocks and also during feedback allowing a clear picture of how the child is progressing. Kevin is an outstanding and naturally gifted tutor who was able to put my daughter at ease from the 1st lesson. He understands the teenage brain and works very well in nurturing his student with versatility and consideration of their current mindset. Kavita Arif is an excellent Math teacher. She has been tutoring my son for a few weeks, and her teaching method is very interactive. She keeps her students engaged continuously and works them through any sticky patches they might encounter. She is brilliant, and I highly recommend her. Safiyyah is an excellent Biology, Chemistry and Geography teacher.
