My first two daughters attended Top Grade tuition, and had excellent grades in their GCSE. My last daughter joined when she was struggling with her science and maths at school. Today she is very good in those subjects and was one of the few selected to do triple science. The teachers are qualified and very respectful, they are students focus. No day did not daughter refused to attend the weekly sessions, she was always happy every Saturday. Every time she comes back from tuition, she will say “ mum I have learnt some thing new today” I am very happy and feel confident that my daughter is in a safe place and learning. My brother and I have both attended this tuition for years and have seen genuine improvements in out academics. I did my GCSE’s last year and got 9's in English ,Math and Triple Science, largely thanks to the techniques the qualified teachers at the tuition taught me. I have weekly physics lessons with Nida and so far it's been amazing. She explains topics well and makes it easy to understand. The lessons are flexible enough to do other material as well like revision, exam questions or other subjects completely. The power point slides shown have easy to follow notes and diagrams and are tailored to the curriculum of the exam board you follow. It's been really useful and Nida has been a great teacher.

My Learning Room is so much more than just a tutoring company! The one on one service is fantastic and the best experience I've encountered across the many tutoring companies we have tried (and not made much progress with). We were concerned about our son's progress at school and wanted to give him some extra help to ensure he can achieve his potential and open a few doors. We felt his school wasn't offering enough as he's a bright boy and capable of more. After failing to be convinced by a few other companies including a local tutor, we came across My Learning Room. We initially started with online GCSE Maths lessons after a very encouraging chat with Amer who was great to deal with. She listened and it was clear she really cared right from the start. The level of tutoring was impressive and we saw improvements within a short space of time. Knowledge on the curriculum was excellent and they focussed on key areas combined with tailored exam practise. We added online GCSE English and Science lessons and again the quality of online tutoring was clear to see, all tutors were very personable and helped build my son's confidence along with his knowledge of these subjects. A patient approach is what was required along with some key advice and techniques; My Learning Room delivered this exceptionally well. It wasn't long before his progress was noticed at school and he was placed in a higher set. My son achieved 8's & 9's across the board. We were simply overjoyed! I genuinely feel this wouldn't have been possible without Amer and the team. We were given advice on further studies, subjects to take and the grades required going forward. My son's confidence has grown so much over these last 2 years and we no longer worry as much as we used to. I searched for a tutor and found Amer for some help with my daughters eleven plus. She worked with my daughter weekly and was able to find holes in her existing knowledge that she filled to enable my daughter to pass her eleven plus with flying colours. Amer has a very nurturing way and my daughter found they was she taught easy to easy to understand and the weekly homework allowed her to progress even further. I can highly recommend Amer if you want to give your child that additional help during a really stressful period. We feel blessed we found her and honestly believe she had a huge hand in helping my daughter pass her eleven plus and access the amazing grammar school system. I’ve been coming to this tuition place for over a year and it’s one of the best - all the teachers really support you with topics you struggle with and encourage you to achieve higher - I was mainly getting grade 6-7s in science and maths but this results day ended up with 8-9s and a huge part of that is because of toptutors- can’t recommend them enough :)

I believe my son benefited from tutoring at Top Tutors in Roman road, in a very short period of time they managed to identify and fill the gaps in his knowledge which helped my son with passing the 11+ exam. I believe the tutors here are attentive and insightful, they prepare tasks based on each student’s individual level, they spare sufficient time to each student. My son feels engaged and challenged and the atmosphere is friendly.

I've been attending top tutors since late January. I'm currently getting 1 to 1 maths support with a tutor to help me with upcoming exams. I think the tutors are very skilled and have a good knowledge of how to help you with areas you are struggling with. Would recommend to anyone else who is struggling with their maths or even English. It's well worth the extra money for having the 1 to 1. I think all parents should go ahead and book an appointment to give their children a chance to get to where they want to go in life, this is going to help them.

We have worked in collaboration with Manning's Tutors as part of the Schools Covid Recovery Strategy for the past 4 years. We originally began using government funding through the National Tutoring Programme to support students who had been most affected by the Pandemic. This was meant to be a short term solution. However, the results of 1:1 and small group tutoring have been very strong and we have continued to support students from a range of backgrounds and demographics to close the attainment gap in Maths, English and Science. Manning's Tutors provide a first class service and this has helped us deliver excellent returns for our students. Their personal service, reliability, efforts to problem solve, safeguarding practices AND the lesson space platform all contribute to a seamless service which is value for money. Despite government funding likely to end this year, we as a school have already committed 10% of our PP budget to Manning's because we value the service they provide and the support they offer alongside normal classroom learning. Dr Guna is very dedicated to the 11+ coaching that he is providing to the children. He is an excellent tutior. My daughter started with him since year 4 and I have also seen immense improvement in her maths and English. I came from Spain to sit my A level exams at 2 of the AEC exam sites. The staff were super helpful, answering any questions I had before arriving and also on the day. They helped me re-arrange my Spanish speaking exam so it fit in my flight schedule which was great. The reception staff were lovely and tried to help me calm my nerves before going in. Amazing service and support! Last year, I booked my A-level exams with AEC Tutors and sat the exams this summer and I couldn't be happier with the whole process and staff. My son has been having private tutoring with Kiran for over a year now. She is a kind, professional tutor with lots of experience working with SEN children. My son was diagnosed with dyslexia and also struggled with maths. Since attending, he has improved in all areas of his school work. Kiran teaches different techniques which help children to learn in a different way, making it easier for them to understand. She adapts her teaching to the child's needs.
