Small and pretty farmers market just a minute walking from Canterbury Station. Good selection of fruit, vegs, meant and fish, bread and pastries, drinks and organic products. Very tiny, 10 minutes is enough to visit
Rating: 4 / 5
Lovely place to dine or shop from local businesses - all in close proximity to the train station. We seemed to have visited on a particularly busy day, as they only had one table available for walk-ins (us). The kitchen seemed a bit overwhelmed as our food took forever to arrive, and we ended up dining there for 2.5 hours. Something to keep in mind if you're on a tight schedule. The food was great! We really enjoyed the confit pork belly, and we thought the mint butter paired really well with the pink fir potatoes. Didn't realise the 'roast chicken' was a salad when we ordered, but it was still pretty good.

Amazing restaurant and beautiful local produce market! The food at the restaurant was really fancy and absolutely delicious! Every meal was a real experience! They use local and seasonal ingredients sourced directly from the market. We ordered a 3-course meal which was definitely pricey but perfect for a celebration or special occasion. The staff a very attentive and very well organised. Booking a table is best as it gets very busy. The market is also very charming with fresh local veg, fish, meat, juice, cheese and other wonderful finds. Highly recommend and can't wait to be back!

I love The Three Tuns, I hadn't been in a while since I moved away but I used to go to the pub quiz every 1st Wednesday with my family and friends and it's such a good time. I was there recently for the Christmas quiz and it was just as wonderful as always. Food, service and atmosphere are always great. Definitely the best pub in the area.

Honestly from the moment we walked in we had a very warm welcome from Jade who showed us to our table. Nigel served us and gave us an exceptional service taking our order and serving us drinks. The food was amazing too. Definitely a little hidden gem we found and will come and eat here again. Thank you again to all the staff.

Went for the first time, for Sunday lunch, and had the Roast Beef with vegetables and Yorkshire pudding all of which was cooked to perfection and tasted great. A very relaxed ambient atmosphere with pleasant staff situated in a lovely peaceful village setting
Rating: 5 / 5
Went for a lunchtime meal and had a pleasant time. The service was brilliant and also checked to ensure that all was okay. Had steak and ale pie with vegetables and new potatoes which was lovely as usual only option is chips or fries, was so nice to have vegetables! Then dessert was a brandy Alexander panna cotta..never heard of but was light and perfect to end the meal. Sadly no brandy could be tasted but was lovely just the same. Pub was quiet when we entered at 12.30pm but became quite busy by 2pm. Advice book in advance or attend early.

Itās hard to describe the magic of the Pig hotels if you havenāt been to one. Their rustic charm is unbeatable for celebrating a special occasion or just a relaxing break. The thoughtful and personal touches by the team are really second to none - they always go the extra mile with customer service. We have stayed at Bridge Place twice now (getting engaged there the first time!) and we will continue returning year on year. The breakfasts are so yummy - the artisanal options on the breakfast table are a special touch. Dinner is always great! Their interiors are absolutely divine too. Thank you Pig team for another amazing stay, and Merry Christmas!āØ

We celebrated our 18th anniversary at this stunning venue and we had an amazing evening! The staff were friendly and attentive, making us feel truly welcomed. The menu featured a nice selection of locally sourced dishes, and we loved that they grow most of their own vegetables and herbs. The building is lovely, and a walk around the grounds is a must. While itās a bit pricey, the quality of the food and exceptional service make it well worth it. A perfect spot for a special occasion!

We stayed here for my wife's birthday and we had a wonderful time. The staff really made us feel welcome and made every effort to make sure we enjoyed our stay. Our room was exceptional. The building itself is lovely as are the grounds it sits in. And the food in the restaurant was delicious with everything locally sourced where possible. Overall a lovely experience.

Had a lovely lunch here. Michelin star very happy with everything. Staff weāre very attentive and made it very special.

Staying in a nearby hotel for Christmas but had to come here as have heard so much about it. A few pubs in Bridge and this one seemed certainly very nice but typical of a good country pub. BUT tried only a bar snack and thought YES I get it. I want to come back and have a meal soon.

The food was faultless - the crab starter was beautiful, my partner said the trout starter was the best trout heād ever had and then the roast beef lunch was sensational. The young lady that served us was also lovely, so friendly and professional - refreshing. Would wholeheartedly recommend and this was my 234th Michelin meal so feel I can say that it was super! Credit to the team and a lovely pub setting

We had a long lunch at the Dog over the Festive period and as always was impeccable. The drinks before and after were awesome but the food is always the star with wonderful service. A must for foodies!

A truly delightful experience. Staff were all so pleasant and professional that it would be unfair to single any one out for special praise. Food and drink both to a very high standard. Room very well equipped and tastefully decorated. Great location for exploring the surrounding area. Overall a very enjoyable stay and a place I am very happy to recommend.

Lovely pub, very welcoming and a nice atmosphere. Staff were very attentive but lessened once it got busier. Forgot to ask if everything was ok after serving main meal BUT nothing was too much when we asked for anything. Food was excellent and very tasty. My family and I go out a lot for a Sunday Roast and although fairly pricey ( you get what you pay for ), I would give the whole experience 8.5 out of 10. I would visit again

I had a wonderful time at the Fordwich Arms. The food was delicious and the staff very kind! I had the Hake, The Quail, the pistachio and raspberry tart. My fiancƩ got the Pork instead of the Hake.

We have dined here for a special occasion. The fire place was on and it added to overall atmosphere. We went for a longer menu. It was one of the best meals of our lives. Especially the lobster was just amazing. Every little piece was perfectly executed and balanced. Oysters were delicious as well. And the wine selection is very extensive.
Rating: 5 / 5
The food was exceptional as was the wine selection which included a number of English vineyards. We chose the â la carte menu and were very pleased with the choices. I suppose the only comment we would make is that it's basically a pub albeit an elevated one and the service reflects that. Which doesn't mean that anyone was rude - far from it - but there was a fair bit of shouting and loud talking in/out of the kitchen and up/down the bar. My expectation when paying £75pp is that the staff would perhaps be a little more circumspect but in no way did it detract from the absolutely amazing food.

We've been a few times recently as we love cycling and walking along this stretch of coast even though it's a little further for us than our normal haunts! The food is excellent - the brie and bacon roll special even eclipsed the very good bacon and egg sarnie :o). The staff are exceptionally friendly and service is very quick and efficient. We love dogs and all of the resident and visiting pooches have been very well behaved on every visit. Our own dog also enjoys a visit as she usually gets a sausage or some bacon (or even an ice cream!) and also enjoys sampling from every water bowl! Definitely recommended for a rest and refuel before, during, or after a walk or bike ride along this glorious stretch of coast.

Cafe/restaurant and bar at Minus bay in Kent. It is also possible to stay there but I didn't so can't comment on that part. In the day The Waves bar is primarily a cafe serving breakfast until 3pm plus a good selection of rolls and sandwiches, jacket potatoes, hot dogs/burgers and a selection of main meals.i would say prices are moderate but I find the food to be good, the service is always friendly too! Your well behaved four legged friend is welcome as well. In the evening the venue becomes a tapas restaurant and they have occasional live music plus they have a quiz quite frequently. Their dessert menu is filled with classics like sticky toffee pudding, sorted dick and Bramley apple crumble as well a cheese board. They do sell alcohol including cocktails. On a nice day it's lovely to sit outside as it's right by the sea. There are customer toilets including one for disabled users plus a baby change. There is plenty of parking, a lot is free but there is also a pay for car park if the free spaces have all gone.

We booked for Christmas Day lunch and it was everything that we could of hoped for. The food was delicious, staff were all happy and helpful. The lovely Holly who was serving us went the extra mile by helping us with our elderly family member through the busy pub to our table. Thank you Holly for making the day really special :-)

Had a last minute Sunday meal at the Farmhouse today and was very impressed! Fast service, tasty food which was piping hot. Very attentive staff without being overbearing. Family friendly, highly recommend, just a shame we couldnāt stay longer.

We visited today for Sunday lunch and was not disappointed! We sat outside on the terrace in the shade which was very pleasant. Our server Damian was absolutely marvellous! He was so attentive and thoughtful! He heard my 4 year daughter say she wanted a Yorkshire pudding but she doesnāt eat roast dinner so when her sausage chips came out she was super excited to see a giant Yorkshire on her plate. This made me super emotional as its little touches like this that mean so much. He was patient and great with our kids and I am even got an extra Yorkshire because I didnāt get own that last time I was at an elite pub. The food was delicious, the childrenās came out with our starters and our main came out shortly after and was piping hot and very much enjoyed by myself and my husband. All in all a wonderful experience and would highly recommend and are sure to come back soon. Thank you to Damien and all the staff

Very good meal, the drink selection was good and the service was excellent. The star is lost as £16 for the roast although good quality was steep for the quantity of food received. The dessert selection on the Sunday menu was quite limited which meant none of our group had dessert. The Cajun chicken burger a member of our group had looked amazing and got a good review from him. I would choose this if I went on a Sunday again.
